Very short choker

I will need to use a quite long extension for this choker to achieve the same results as the photo. My worry is that the metal clips could be seen as the ribbons are not long enough. The ribbons are quite fragile, especially the translucent one, if you pulled it a little , it would stretch at the metal clip area and worsen the state or quality. Although, this choker looks becomes better as you wear as it mixes up the combination.
